Once again the Washington Redskins had a special visitor at Redskins Park to watch practice.

Two weeks ago, Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey squeezed time into his busy schedule to see his favorite team in action. Last week, ESPN Monday Night Football host and older brother of Redskins head coach Jay Gruden, Jon, was at Redskins Park seeing how his younger brother was doing and caught up with the Allen family.

And now this week, University of Virginia head football coach Mike London was in Ashburn to get tips from the pros and see two of his former players, offensive lineman Morgan Moses and cornerback Chase Minnifield.

“You appreciate the Washington Redskins, the organization, allowing myself and a couple of the coaches to come up here and watch,” London explained to CSN Washington. “It’s always good to revisit players, coaches, staff members that you know. Practices are very spirited, very competitive, and a lot of great talent out here. It’s just fun to watch.”

Moses, who graduated from Virginia last month after playing four seasons under London, said he appreciates the support from his college coaching staff.

“It still feels like just yesterday I was on grounds playing for Coach London, but to have some of the coaching staff out here–[offensive coordinator] Steve Fairchild, my offensive line coach [Scott] Wockenheim and Coach Mike London–just shows how much support I have and they’re out here learning little things too. Just glad I can have that support.”
